I taught in high schools for 10 years with the 2020-2021 school year being my last
I began privately tutoring students in February 2020
Math with Melanie, LLC was officially established in February 2021
In June 2021, I transitioned from classroom teaching to full time tutoring
I have taught and designed curriculum for all levels of high school math
I have tutored students in every grade level 2nd grade - 12th grade and some college students
I tutor all types of math students:
those struggling in math,
those a little behind because of COVID,
those trying to get into advanced math,
and those trying to stay in advanced math

Math is explainable. I LOVE explaining math to people of all ages! To take a concept that appears complicated and make it concise, clear, and accessible to someone is my PASSION. I have been incredibly fortunate that math has always come easily to me. My goal is to make it just as clear and easy for everyone else. Anyone can be successful in a math class, it just takes some practice and someone who can explain it well. I am the person who can explain math so that it finally clicks for YOU!
